Exporting Bespoke Cashmere from Nepal
We prepare all export documents, pack your order to your specification and ship worldwide from Nepal. For samples and most orders, we ship by international courier (FedEx, UPS or DHL) with door-to-door tracking. For larger orders, we can also arrange air freight or sea freight through your freight forwarder.
Shipping terms we support:
- DAP (Delivered at Place): we ship to your address and you pay import duties and taxes on arrival. This is our standard courier term.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): we handle duties and taxes as well, and quote them in your invoice. Available on request for selected destinations.
- FCA Kathmandu: your forwarder collects the goods from us, and you arrange the freight.
Payment terms: a 50% deposit by bank transfer (T/T) when the order is confirmed, and the 50% balance before shipment. Samples and small orders are paid in full in advance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make a design from just a sketch or idea?
Yes. Send a tech pack, a sketch, a reference photo or a written description, and we will help develop the specifications and a sample.
What is the MOQ for bespoke cashmere?
For a new design, our MOQ is 100 pieces per style (accessories 100 to 200 pieces). Custom colors on existing styles start at 50 pieces per color, and white label orders start at 30 to 50 pieces per style, with a minimum of 100 pieces per order. Contact us with your style and we will confirm the exact figure.
How long do samples and production take?
Sampling takes 7 to 10 working days . Bulk production takes 45 to 60 days for new designs and 30 to 45 days for white label, counted from sample approval and receipt of the deposit.
Do you charge for samples?
Yes. Samples are charged to cover materials and labor, plus courier cost. The sample fee is credited against your bulk order if you order within 60 to 90 days.
Can I use my own labels and packaging?
Yes. We can add your woven labels, hang tags and packaging, or produce them for you.
What is the difference between OEM, ODM and white label?
OEM means we make your design. ODM means we help develop the design with you. White label means you choose one of our existing styles and add your branding.
Which countries do you export to?
We export worldwide by international courier (FedEx, UPS and DHL), and by air or sea freight for larger orders, including to the USA, Europe, the UK, Australia and Asia.
